Indian Student Parliament Selection Process

The specific objective of the First Indian Student Parliament is to create an accessible platform for young student leaders and help them interact with the experts from different sectors. Exposing these students to the different problems prevalent in the country is expected to bring the focus on the areas that need immediate focus and attention. It is also expected that bringing together student leaders from different States all over the Country will help create a bonding and these individuals can start working together in making a difference in society.

The selection process of the Indian Student Parliament is designed to give the students leaders form all the universities in Maharashtra and other states as well to participate in the workings of the council. Thus each collage affiliated to the university can select it Student Council (SC), designated at General and Joint secretaries and also elect a University Representative (UR) who represent the students in the at their college or University.

The best part of the selection process is that it is a transparent process that is free from any manipulation. Students from thousands of colleges all over the country have been invited to participate in this meeting. The students who are involved in community work and excel in their subject will be preferred over others. Along with this, the students will be required to have strong leadership qualities.
