Day in and day out, there’s excess of waste being dumped into the ground or water resources. But, has any one thought about the impact they may have on the natural resources and various species? Little do we realize the after effects of dumping waste and measures to dispose them safely so that it doesn’t cause any harm to living creatures and natural habitat.
Waste disposal management is of prime concern and treating them is also important. Two types of waste generating sources are home and industries. There’s domestic as well as industrial effluents which needs to be handled. Industrial effluents are quite dangerous as they are often filled with chemicals and fertilizers. These may cause severe damage to the water resources and contaminate them. Thus, making water unfit to drink. If this is not addressed at the right time, we will soon witness water scarcity.
Domestic effluents are usually treated by the local authorities itself such as the municipality. Other effluents are treated with the use of absorbents to clean these contaminants. Dispersants may also be used to treat this aggravating problem to mankind. There are various companies which deal with effluent treatment with the use of heavy machinery.
